Bharatpur Bird sanctuary hosts for thousands of migrating and indigenous birds. This place is also known as Keoladeo ( Shiva ) Ghana National park. The sanctuary was created 250 years ago. The park was established as a national park in 10th March 1982.

One of the best Bird Sanctuary in Asia. The location of the park is such that tourists visiting Agra, Fatehpur Sikri and Jaipur invariably stop at Bharatpur. There are 3 options available bicycle, rickshaw and Battery rickshaw. Charges are very nominal for the same. Binoculars are also available Rs 50 per hour. If you take Rickshaw than the Rickshaw puller is more like a guide and will tell about birds and many more things like names, location, canteen etc.
